Blogging from 10,000+ miles in the air??? Well don't mind if I do! I've never used the onboard wireless before, but since I have a ton of emails to catch up on (a quick blog to do) I figured now is as good of time as any to test it out. So far so good.

Anyways... Let's get on with the countdown to my first competition in over a year!!! Oh but first, just a quick recap since my Aunt Dollie called me last night and mentioned that she knew I had a countdown going but didn't know exactly when the meet was (I guess that's the important point of this) lol. :-) I compete this two days at 2:00pm PST in Seattle, WA. Click here for the meet website. It's a small meet and nope, it won't be televised.

Back to the countdown...

FOUR... so I actually had no idea what I was going to write for the 4th day out, which was actually Tuesday. I had no idea what to say until last night unfortunately (or around 6am this morning actually). Four is for the 4 times I woke up in the middle of the night out of anxiousness :-/ Luckily, they say "the night before the night before" is suppose to be the most important time for sleep before a competition so I have tonight to make up for it. And no, that wasn't a typo. For some reason, some research (somewhere) says that the sleep you get two nights before is more important than the sleep you get the night before. Idk. I just smile, nod, and go with it. I'm trying to stay calm for Saturday, but last night's sleep was anything but calm. I lost my breath for a quick second a few hours before bedtime when I tried on my NIKE uniform for the first time in a year and a half! It all when down hill from there. LOL. Wow... Has it really been that long since I last competed!?! I told my dad last night that I was a little nervous because I haven't felt what it's like to have a true rush of adrenaline in soooo long. I knew I should've taken that sky diving trip with my friends Christina and Chris. That would've done the trick. ;-)

THREE... 3 is for exactly what I do and love!!! TRIPLE JUMP! Whoooo hoo! The triple jump is little more than a hop, step, and a jump into a giant pit of sand. Well, ok so maybe it's a little more complex than that but that's the general idea :-) Aw I wish I had the video from my freshman year at Stanford of two of my best girl friends, Becky and Elena, trying to learn the triple jump in our dorm hall onto my LoveSac! Lol. It's at home on my computer. This would've been the perfect post for it. Love you both!

TWO... is for the time I jump Saturday... 2:00pm... sound the alarm. Only two more days to go, and yesterday I woke up to the following video from my coach. Just about time to officially get pumped up!
